Breast Reconstruction

Women who are diagnosed with breast cancer may turn to Dr. Salvino to undergo a variety of Breast Reconstruction surgeries. These procedures can vary greatly, so it's important to discuss the surgery at length with Dr. Salvino to choose the treatment that is best for you.

Skin Cancer

If you suffer from a form of Skin Cancer, Dr. Salvino may be able to use his reconstructive skills to remove affected areas of the skin and leave you with aesthetically-pleasing skin in the surrounding area.

Tissue Expansion

For reconstructive procedures where an inadequate amount of skin is available, Dr. Salvino may employ Tissue Expansion techniques. In this case, he will insert a small balloon-like instrument under the surface of your skin which will be gradually filled to stretch the skin in order to move forward with reconstructive surgery.

Scar Revision

If you have a scar from a previous procedure or some form of skin trauma, Dr. Salvino performs Scar Revision procedures which can dramatically reduce visible scarring.

General Reconstruction
